The purpose of the event is to bring together shoppers, fashionable individuals with distinct taste, shop boutique buyers and owners, outside brands, realtors, small business investors and more! The hosts aims to offer brands a grassrootes opportunity to expand outside the social networking craze and make the RIGHT connections to get them off the ground in DC and beyond.

52 O St NW, WDC (between First St & North Capitol/ right before NY Ave and behind Dunbar HS)
Time: 7 to 11pm
Art, furniture, clothing and accessories will be on sight for showcasing as well as purchase. Attendees will also enjoy music, appetizers and adult beverages. All are asked to make a $5 donation that will benefit SO Others Might Eat (S.O.M.E), a great DC charity that has been serving the homeless for 40 years.
I really like the idea of this serioes. It’s something we haven’t really seen in DC before and it’s a great way to bring attention to local businesses. The Trunk Series will take place once a month. Some will focus on fashion and others will focus on art. I’ve been told the February event will offer a spa, groom and pamper lounge. Just in time for Valentine’s Day!
