During her consultation, Sharnece told me she had recently purchased animal print booties but didn’t know what to wear with them. During our conversation I learned that like most of us, she likes to go to happy hour and go out with friends on the weekend.  She has a lot of black dresses, so I could easily recommend she wear her booties with one of the many in her closet, but I wanted to present some alternative ways to wear the booties in a more casual way and in dresses and skirts other than black.

Most employers have casual Fridays, meaning employees can wear jeans.  Since Sharnece likes to go out to happy hour with friends after work, she could wear a pair of jeans, a sweater and flats to work (since she works with kids) on a Friday and change into her booties to meet her friends afterwards. Add bright accessories for pops of color.

Another option is to wear the booties with bright color jeans. Animal print is treated as a neutral so they will look great with any color. While red would be the first choice for most, step outside the norm and pair them with a bright royal blue pair of jeans. This look is great to meet up with friends in the evening or for attending day events during the weekend.

Leopard print booties will look great with any color like purple or blue, but the pattern really pops paired with a red dress and a bold accessory. A great outfit for girl’s night out, date night or an event.

The booties will also look great with a pencil skirt. The booties add a little edge to the look, making the pencil skirt and blouse outfit more chic and sexy and less conservative.
