Styled by Keri: Fall Shopping Appointments & Oufit Sessions

If you follow me on Instagram or have been reading this blog for over a year, then you are familiar with my client Celia. She has been keeping me busy! Over the past month, I have been updating her wardrobe for the fall season and creating new outfits for her to wear to work and for weekend activities with family and friends.

At the end of September, I headed to Arundel Mills with Celia. Her fall shopping list for that appointment consisted of sweaters, dresses, boots/booties and skirt. We spent two to three hours at the mall, finding great pieces at The Limited Outlet, LOFT outlet and J.Crew Factory which was definitely a winner in our book! Celia scored an extra 30% off her purchase, which was already on sale.  The factory store has great wool blend skirts which will pair well with ankle booties and tights in the winter along with jeweled sweaters.  These beaded loafers were probably one of my favorite items for her from the store. I found them by accident; Celia is always in need of new flats so I just happened to look for a size 8 and there they were!

Great fall shopping trip at Arundel Mills for Celia!

Following the shopping trip, I headed to Celia’s house to begin putting together new looks for her to wear to work as well as any special events (i.e mostly friends and family birthday parties), she may be attending.

Shopping for the fall season continued this past weekend. We headed to Columbia, MD and spent four hours going from store to store to tackle her list. Our favorite item purchased was a pair of leather Tahari over the knee boots. Lord & Taylor, which is a great store to shop for shoes, was having a friends & family sale, so she got the boots for around $100. Fab find!  Other great purchases included a chunky knit sweater dress from TJ Maxx, a tweed Jacket from Nordstrom Rack (she feels like Olivia Pope) and a grey cardigan sweater from Lord & Taylor (I ordered this for myself too..it was just so cute)!

The weekend of styling concluded with another outfit session. I met Celia at her home and put together outfits for the next two weeks for her to wear to work.

New top from Target paired with an H&M blazer and LOFT pants.
